    Stone Arrogant Bastard (Barrel-aged)

    , ,
ABV: 8.1% I awake from a slumber that’s been anything but peaceful. I don’t take kindly to idling and I am anything but neutral. Life has nothing to do with killing time, and the knowledge that months have passed since the onset of my sequestering in this pitch-black oaken tomb (albeit a barrel flush with brilliant aromas of vanilla and char) does not sit well. But then comes a tingle followed by rejuvenating warmth, signs that something is different…something has changed…and for the better.

    Stone Delicious IPA

    ,
Stone has always been obsessed with brewing bold, high-quality craft beer. When Stone developed this pleasantly bitter, deliciously lemony IPA, they took it as an opportunity to do something they'd spent over a year researching and perfecting: reducing the amount of gluten in the beer to the degree that nearly everyone could experience Stone's no-holds-barred approach to craft brewing.

An enzyme added during the brewing process called Clarity Ferm did the heavy lifting, cutting the bee's gluten content to well below the threshold of 20 parts per million required by the Food and Drug Administration to label a product gluten-free. What it did not diminish by any stretch was this IPA's flavor.

    Stone Delicious IPA (330ml can)

    , ,
While Stone's beers are many and diverse, yet unified by overarching boldness, India pale ales are our undeniable bread and butter. The result is an intensely citrusy, beautifully bitter beer is worthy of the simple-yet-lordly title of Stone Delicious IPA. Lemondrop and El Dorado hops combine to bring on a magnificent lemon candy-like flavor that's balanced by hop spice. It's unlike anything we've tasted in nearly two decades of IPA experimentation, and another lupulin-laced creation we're excited to present to hopheads everywhere. Stone IPA

    ,
By definition, an India Pale Ale is hoppier and higher in alcohol than its little brother, pale ale and Stone delivers in spades. Now one of the most well respected and best-selling IPAs in the States, this golden beauty explodes with citrusy flavor and hop aromas, all perfectly balanced by a subtle malt character. This crisp, extra hoppy brew is hugely refreshing on a hot day, but will always deliver no matter when you choose to drink it. ABV: 6.9% IBU: 77 #StoneIPA

    Stone Moxee Gold IPA

    , ,
ABV: 7% | IBU: 56 | IPA Behind every great beer are amazing stories of all the people, places and ingredients that culminate in what you have in your hand. The Stone Farm to Can Series is our heartfelt tribute to the dedicated farmers who cultivate the hops that help bring our beers to life. Each beer in this series features hops grown at a single specific farm as our way of paying homage to their harvest. Many of these growers breed and develop their own varieties, like CLS Farms in Moxee, Washington did with El Dorado hops, named for the mythical hidden City of Gold. Moxee lies nestled in Yakima Valley, the very real paradise of hop production in the American Pacific Northwest. Stone Moxee Gold IPA is loaded with Centennial and of course El Dorado hops, all sourced from the fruitful bines of CLS Farms. The valley itself may be mostly green, but its bounty of hops are as good as gold.

    Stone Ripper Pale Ale

    , ,
When it came to creating Ripper, Stone drew inspiration from the coastal surf cultures of SoCal and Oz. Sourcing classic Cascade from the Pacific Northwest and Australian Galaxy hops from Australia, they made a beer both lovers of frothy peaks and hoppy green buds will be stoked about. At the same time, Stone stayed true to their San Diego roots by pushing the hop boundaries of this style. While some might think it lingers on an edge far closer to an IPA, with all the dry-hop flavor and aroma, it's actually right in line with the current-day interpretation of a West Coast pale. Stone just so happens to have an Aussie accent that's cascading with a juicy amount of grapefruit and passion fruit hoppiness. So veg out or venture out. Either way, rip one open and taste this awesome golden nectar! ABV: 5.7% IBU: 40 #StoneRipper #CansInHandsHK

    Stone Tropic of Thunder Lager

    , , ,
Imagine you set sail for a three hour tour. Let’s say from the Port of Escondido (work with us here). The weather started getting rough. Your tiny ship (but not lunch, thankfully) was tossed. Long story short: You’re marooned on a remote island somewhere near the Tropic of Thunder. The good news is that the Capt. of the S.S. Stone and her brewing kit were among the small cast of colorful characters that survived the rough voyage with you. Mainstays Citra & Mosaic along with newcomer Cashmere hops are joined by their juicy tropical aromas of citrus, pineapple and coconut (try stringing all that together in a catchy tune). The rescue ship will find you all soon enough. For now, set aside the non-working cell phone and lack of social media (again, work with us here), kick back and revel in your moment of tropical island lagoon serenity. IBU: 45 ABV: 5.8%

    Stone Xocoveza CAN

    ,
This is a beloved stout. When first introduced as a limited special collaboration release with San Diego homebrewer Chris Banker (after his recipe won our annual homebrew competition) and Cerveceria Insurgente, it was an instant hit and fans began clamoring for its return. Seeing as how its amazing flavor profile is evocative of Mexican hot chocolate, featuring coffee, pasilla peppers, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and a generous amount of our own in-house made chocolate, Stone Brewing concluded it was the perfect stout to re-release in celebration of the Holidays and the entire winter season. This is now a highly anticipated yearly tradition that we are pleased to present from us to you, and makes a perfect wintry gift from you to your friends, loved ones, or simply to yourself. Cheers! Totalitarian Imperial Russian Stout

    ,
Built from the backbone of Stone's classic Imperial Russian Stout, Stone Totalitarian Imperial Russian Stout certainly celebrates the hallmarks of the style - it pours jet-black with a fluffy chocolate head and tastes of deeply dark fruit flavors with rich chocolate and coffee overtones. Yet, however old world in nature, this particular rendition of an IRS is flavored with new world hops, intensifying its berry flavors and aroma while subtly introducing a juicy melon undertone. The result is a spectacularly sinful delight. Don't say we didn't warn you, comrade.
