Everything Sideways Micro IPA | ABV: 3.5% We were really please with our first Micro IPA but felt that we could push up the brightness of the hop character so we’ve gone for impact with a trio of bright hops, Mosaic, El Dorado and Idaho-7. This is the first year that we have had some plentiful stock of El Dorado and we are excited to get all of that peachy, candy goodness into this beer. With the sweaty, mango of Mosaic and tropical fruit forward Idaho-7. this one sings from the minute your pour it into a glass. A couple of slight tweaks to the malt bill see an even creamier and slightly fuller body that betrays the lowly 3.5% abv that it carries. Another one to enjoy in the summer sun. High Politics Imperial Barcelona Weisse | ABV: 7.7% High Politics is a creamy, smooth pale sour loaded to the gills with lots of pineapple, mango and passion fruit to really make you feel the summer vibes. We have replaced about one third of the base malt with oats in this to try and get the creamiest tropical fruit smoothy we could without going into pastry territory. At 7.7% abv this will give you that same refreshing feeling you get when you sip on a cool tropical fruit caipirinha while lounging in a hammock on the Brazilian coast. SANTAKO West Coast IPA | ABV: 6.4% We’ve based this on one of our recent WCIPA’s, Plasticity, but have replaced the Cascade portion of the dry hop with Amarillo to push the orangey citrus character further. Combined with Citra, Simcoe and Columbus the aroma immediately presents plenty of dank pine resin, marijuana, orange and grapefruit zest and some slight peachiness. The initial taste follows with more citrus and a little kiss of sweetness before finishing with a dry and firm bitterness that does’t overstep the mark. The body is on the leaner, drier side yet with the little addition of a very light caramel malt, a slight sweet touch blends with the bitter finish to give some of that sticky, oily, resinous character that we love in West Coast IPA. This is a west coast IPA designed with drinkibility in mind and what’s more it’s even Gluten Free! RIBA German Pilsner | ABV: 5% A true northern German Style Pilsner. Brewing great Pils is about paying attention to all of the small details and being meticulous in process. To that extent we start with 100% reverse osmosis water to allow a water profile perfect for brewing this style. Adding in only the necessary minerals allows us to achieve the crisp and soft palate that a beer like this should have. Then we use 100% Pilsner malt from Bamberg to give gentle bready notes. Hop selection sees a trifecta of absolutely stellar German hops. Two classic noble hops; Hallertau Mittelfruh and Tettnang provide beautiful herbal, floral and slight lemon zest notes which are perfectly complimented by a more modern German variety; Saphir. A delightful hop that marries some classic noble like characteristics with zingy tangerine notes. While not dry hopped, we pack the whirlpool full of these hops so this beer is not short on hop character. The beer is cast away to fermentation where it meets our house bavarian lager yeast. We ferment this as low as possible for a long slow fermentation that yields an extremely clean and crisp pils once the extended lagering process is complete. Towards the end of fermentation the beer gets spunded to achieve an elegant carbonation. Lost In The Shuffle IIPA | ABV: 8% Idaho 7 and Strata are two of the newer highly aromatic hops that have gained widespread liking in the last few years but we hadn’t had the opportunity to pair them until now. And they are a happy couple. Both are hops that are highly aromatic but also very versatile giving plenty of notes of complexity to this DIPA. You’ll find this one full of the juicy tropical and stone fruit flavours that we all love in hazy IPA but there are also layers of citrus, pine, freshly cut grass, black tea and Strata driven dank marijuana. We built the malt base on this with a base of extra pale ale malt, malted wheat and torrified wheat with a focus on smoothness. Based on the same fruit combo that we loved from last years Imperial Barcelona Weisse, Bostik, we have built a low abv yet creamy tropical fruit bomb to be enjoyed in the sun. Based on the sunshine trio of Guava, Pink Grapefruit and Passion Fruit and supported by a malt bill with huge quantities of flaked oats and wheat this little sour drinks like a lightly alcoholic version of your favourite fruit smoothie.
